State:
Georgia

Answer:

Your situation sounds like you could probably perform your own no-fault divorce. Georgia requires only 6 months of residency in order to file a no-fault divorce based on irreconcilable differences. If your spouse agrees to the divorce you should have no additional problems to contend with. You’ll need complete the specific divorce paperwork that is used in your county of residence. You can get the papers from your county courthouse or you can purchase them online from a legal forms service. If you use a forms service make sure they guarantee their forms will be accepted by your courthouse. – The Divorce.com team
