Question:

My wife used “creative” service to notify me of divorce. She used small local paper, but was fully aware I would not see advertisement. She used bad numbers for my salary, and did not report all her income. Now I am saddled with enormous back child support. What is criteria for service? Ohio

State:
Ohio

Answer:

That is a bad situation. If you are saddled with enormous bills as a result of your spouse’s deception perhaps you should consider spending some money up front on a lawyer right now. It could save you a lot of money in the long run. Get an attorney and examine your options under Ohio law as soon as possible. – The Divorce.com Team
