With any of our packages at Divorce.com, you can finalize a divorce without an attorney; however, we offer attorney assistance in select states to review documents and answer questions. We can also connect you to an attorney at a discounted rate in your area if you require legal assistance to finalize your divorce.

Your spouse’s involvement will depend on your specific situation. All divorce solutions require your spouse to sign the agreement before a settlement can be finalized. If you purchase Fully Guided Divorce, you and your spouse will both be needed for mediation sessions. Mediation works best when both spouses prepare for each session ahead of time and understand the need for compromise when negotiating an agreement.

No, court filing fees are not included in our pricing. Each court has its own set of filing fees that must be paid directly to the court. These fees are separate from our service charges.

At Divorce.com, we care about our customers and stand by the quality of our services—so we’ll typically refund our fees on divorce services within the first 30 days of purchase if you're dissatisfied with our services. All the details are here. Call or email us and we'll process your refund.

For mediation to find success, you and your spouse must be motivated to find a fair resolution. Despite the best efforts of the mediator, and good faith efforts on your part, you and your spouse may still disagree on key issues after using mediation. If you are unable to make meaningful progress with this approach, we can introduce you to an attorney in our network at a discount off the attorney’s standard hourly rate so that you can move forward with a contested divorce.
