Amy has worked in the communications field for more than 30 years. Over the course of her career, she has gravitated toward serving nonprofits and organizations dedicated to championing equity, inclusion, and positive change. She has worked in video and film, live events, and content creation.

Her client list includes The Weather Channel, National AfterSchool Association, FedEx, Marriott Hotels, The Coca-Cola Company, UPromise, Louisiana Children’s Museum, and Points of Light

In her free time, Amy volunteers as a crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line, having supported more than 500 texters over the past 5 years. She uses the reflective listening and collaborative problem-solving techniques she has learned in her personal and professional lives every day.

Her work as the chairperson for the Inclusion Diversity Equity and Access Committee at her current workplace allows her to leverage these skills to refresh company policy, bring thoughtful training, and influence organizational culture.

She is currently birdnesting with her family in New Orleans, keeping her children at the center as she navigates divorce with her partner and former husband of 24 years.
